The ranking of decision-making factors are:

So reviews have a bigger impact on a traveler’s opinion of a hotel than the brand which explains why so many of the hotels in the lists are non-brand hotels. What really matters is the experience the hotel offers, especially in the categories that are ranked. The experience will be rated by guests and impact the next travelers' decisions.
